MeisterPath bietet derzeit sechsunddreißig (36) veröffentlichte Kurseinheiten auf den Niveaus A1 bis C2 an. Neue Lernende können sich registrieren. Dieser Hinweis beschreibt die Verarbeitung ihrer Daten im Pilotbetrieb.

MeisterPath currently offers thirty-six (36) released course units across levels A1 to C2. New learners can register. This notice describes how their data is processed during the pilot.

Information handled

The service processes account details used to sign in, including your email address and an authentication token held in browser cookies. It stores learning activity such as answers you submit, course progress, results, and study time so the pilot can save your work and show learning progress.

While a learner page is open in the foreground, the study-time meter sends accumulated foreground seconds to the service about every 30 seconds. Each report includes the minute, a temporary tab ID, and the current level and unit when available. It also attempts a final report when the page is left; that report can fail if the browser or connection closes. Answers and progress are sent through the save, auto-save, and submit flows provided by each learning feature. Text or audio is sent to an AI or speech provider only when you use a feature that needs it.

Your browser may store learning preferences, exercise drafts or progress, and your last position in a course. The study-time feature uses local browser storage to coordinate time tracking between open tabs. Browser storage varies by feature and remains on your device unless a feature sends the information to the service.

Operator access

The pilot operator can access identifiable account information and learning activity, including submitted answers, progress, results, and study time, to operate and troubleshoot the pilot and respond to support requests.

AI and audio features

When you use an AI feature, text you provide and, where needed for that feature, relevant learning context may be sent to the provider listed under Configured pilot details to produce a response or feedback. Provider handling follows that provider's terms and settings; do not enter sensitive information.

Speaking activities may ask to use your microphone and create a session recording in your browser. In the C1-U1 live speaking activity, speech audio is streamed to ElevenLabs; the session transcript and recording are sent to the MeisterPath service and the recording is stored with that session. Other activities may handle audio differently. Microphone access is used only by a speaking or exam feature you start.

Why information is used

Information is used to authenticate pilot users, deliver learning activities, save answers and progress, measure study time, operate and protect the service, and provide AI responses when requested by a feature.

Hosting, storage, and retention

The pilot web frontend is intended to run on Vercel. The API and database are intended to run on Render. The exact regions and the location of any database backups depend on the deployed configuration and are listed under Configured pilot details. Speaking recordings are stored on the API service's local filesystem in a private directory and linked to the session record; the listed locations describe where that storage and any backups are hosted.

The retention policy shown under Configured pilot details describes how long account information, learning records, recordings, and backups are kept in this pilot.

Zugriff, Berichtigung und Löschung / Access, correction and deletion

Unter Mehr kannst du Daten exportieren und Konto löschen aufrufen. Die Exportseite zeigt den Bearbeitungsstand deiner Anfrage. Sobald das Archiv bereit ist, kannst du es bis zum angezeigten Ablaufdatum herunterladen. Die Löschseite meldet die Bestätigung oder ein Hindernis. Wenn eine Anfrage fehlschlägt, blockiert ist oder du Daten berichtigen lassen möchtest, wende dich mit deiner Konto-E-Mail-Adresse an den unten genannten Betreiber.

Under More, you can open Export my data and Delete account. The export page shows your request's processing status. Once the archive is ready, you can download it until the displayed expiry date. The deletion page reports confirmation or a blocker. If a request fails, is blocked, or you want information corrected, contact the operator below with your account email address.

Eine Kontolöschung bedeutet keine sofortige weltweite Löschung aller Kopien. Dateibereinigung und weitere Bearbeitung können noch ausstehen oder Hilfe des Betreibers erfordern. Sicherungskopien und bereits an KI- oder Sprachanbieter übermittelte Daten können nach der konfigurierten Aufbewahrungsrichtlinie beziehungsweise den Bedingungen und Einstellungen des jeweiligen Anbieters weiter aufbewahrt werden. Die unter Configured pilot details angegebene Richtlinie beschreibt die Aufbewahrung; sie ersetzt nicht die Bearbeitung deiner individuellen Anfrage.

Account deletion does not mean immediate global erasure of every copy. File cleanup and further processing may remain pending or require operator help. Backups and data already sent to AI or speech providers may remain under the configured retention policy or the relevant provider's terms and settings. The policy under Configured pilot details describes retention; it does not replace handling your individual request.

Cookies and browser storage

Anmeldetoken und Kontorolle werden in Cookies gespeichert, damit deine Sitzung und die passenden Zugriffsrechte erhalten bleiben. Die Gültigkeitsdauer der Anmeldung wird durch die Serverkonfiguration festgelegt; nach Ablauf ist eine erneute Anmeldung nötig. Nur bei aktiviertem Pilotmodus meldet dich der Browser zusätzlich nach dreißig (30) Minuten ohne Aktivität über die offenen Tabs hinweg ab. Nicht gespeicherte Arbeit kann bei der Abmeldung verloren gehen. Der Dienst verwendet außerdem den oben beschriebenen Browserspeicher und erfasst zuordenbare Lernzeit als Lernaktivität. Im Pilotbetrieb werden keine Werbetracker hinzugefügt.

The sign-in token and account role are stored in cookies to maintain your session and access rights. The server configuration determines how long sign-in remains valid; you need to sign in again after it expires. Only when pilot mode is enabled, the browser additionally signs you out after thirty (30) minutes without activity across open tabs. Unsaved work may be lost at sign-out. The service also uses browser storage as described above and records identifiable study time as learning activity. No advertising trackers are added during the pilot.

Processing and hosting locations

Vercel serves static content through its global network; its server functions run in Frankfurt, Germany. The Render API and PostgreSQL database run in Frankfurt, Germany. Voice recordings and account export files are stored on the Render API service’s persistent disk in Frankfurt, Germany. Render manages database recovery backups, which may be stored outside Frankfurt.

Retention policy

Learners can export or delete their account themselves under More. Export files expire seven days after they are created. Deletion starts as soon as it is requested and its status is shown under More until it is complete; backup copies expire with the hosting provider's backup rotation.
